Founded in 1854, The M&H Valve Company has been manufacturing high-quality valves for the waterworks industry for more than 100 years.
M&H began manufacturing butterfly valves in 1965, and was one of the first American valve companies to produce resilient seated gate valves in 1982. M&H became a member of the McWane family of companies in 1984.
From its foundry and manufacturing facility in Anniston, Alabama, M&H produces a wide range of valves and hydrants, including resilient wedge gate valves, double disc gate valves, seat-on-disc butterfly valves, seat-on-body butterfly valves, high performance butterfly valves, resilient seated butterfly valves, check valves, and eccentric plug valves. M&H offers AIS/BABA compliant products for taxpayer-funded water infrastructure projects.
The foundry uses modern casting techniques and machining technology to ensure the quality, durability and reliability of their products, which are widely used in water treatment, wastewater treatment and water distribution. This in-house capability allows M&H to control the production process from raw material casting to final assembly.
The Anniston site is less than 90 miles from MPI’s distribution center in Calera, Alabama, where M&H valves are always stocked and ready for fast delivery.
